Cape Crusade

We had a great first season igniting Championship Change with Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Together we raised $37,000 to play a small role helping to build the new Emergency Trauma Center!

We celebrated our 1st season at Phoenix Children’s Hospital Ignite Hope on December 12, 2015.

CitySkate at CityScape welcomed us for two different ice skating events and their holiday movie night.

makena-emma-g-kristen-izzy-pch-paientWe had the opportunity to interview doctors, patients and the staff of Phoenix Children’s Hospital to learn about the importance and the need for a new Emergency Trauma Center in Arizona! Click on the links to watch the interviews by our Sports Super Heroes!

mike-leach-garrettCongratulations to Garrett who won our first week Cape Crusade Challenge by raising $5,000. He earned the opportunity to met Mike Leach of the Arizona Cardinals at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Mike became a Sports Super Hero by sponsoring 1 cape and shared with Garrett what HOPE means to him! Thank you Garrett and Mike for your commitment to Sports Philanthropy!

Thank you Notre Dame Prep for your school’s involvement with Sports Super Heroes! The Volleyball and Football teams wore Super Hero Capes during school and asked students to write one word of what HOPE means to them. The entire student body was involved in this initiative! Students brought their capes and participated in the Ignite Hope walk.

Great job Alison for her booth at the All Saints’ Harvest Fair and talking to her fellow students about bringing HOPE to the patients of Phoenix Children’s Hospital!
